This module integrates the communicative goals, grammar structures, and real-world skills developed across Units 9–16 of Interchange Fifth Edition, Book 3, providing students with opportunities to use upper-intermediate English in meaningful contexts. Through topics such as personal goals, workplace challenges, creativity, memorable experiences, urban life, environmental issues, and future plans, learners strengthen their fluency, accuracy, and critical thinking. The module emphasizes interaction through pair work, role-plays, problem-solving tasks, and guided discussions while supporting grammar consolidation—such as passive voice, modals of speculation, gerund phrases, past perfect, reported speech, and future forms. By the end, students are better prepared to communicate confidently, express nuanced ideas, and engage in collaborative tasks that reflect authentic communication in academic and professional settings.

The course consolidates and expands students’ communicative competence through the development of skills to express opinions, make comparisons, describe past experiences and future plans, give recommendations, express obligations and agreements, and narrate real and hypothetical situations. Based on Units 9 to 16 of Interchange 2, students integrate intermediate-level grammatical structures and functional vocabulary into communicative activities that strengthen listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing, promoting effective, fluent, and contextualized communication in English.
